Spoo and Rose Curry

This adventurous recipie is taken from the bestselling Centauri publication, Lady Trachea's "100 More Great Things to do After Bombing Narn," and can be adapted for human requirements by substituting lamb for the spoo.

400g mature spoo or spring lamb

1 tbsp oil (see instructions for Tril with Rose and Almond)

1 tbsp chopped dried apricots

2 tbsp light raisins

1 litre dissolved vegetable stock

1/4 cup rose-tarragon vinegar

1 tbsp curry paste

Trim the spoo/lamb removing all unwanted whiskers, fat and orifices, and cut into rough chunks. Heat the oil in a large pan, add the curry paste and fry meat until golden. Add all other ingredients, and 1/4 of the stock, then cook over a moderate heat for approximately an hour, stirring regularly, adding stock as required.

Should you feel this recipie to be beyond your level of culinary expertise, it may interest you to know that Lady Trachea's "Complete Great Old Days of the Republic Cookery Course" is available from most reputable video outlets, priced 19 credits 99. Ask at the counter for the complimentary "Island of Seline" heat resistant glove. For further assistance, a basic cookery course, run by the little known Minbari Guild of Spiritual Chefs is provided on Fridays in Red 7 - although it should be pointed out that most of their recipes involve the cook remaining awake and fasting for periods of up to 72 hours. You may wish to investigate this further in the interests of broadening your cultural horizons, and giving yourself something useful to do when all the rest of your mates are out with their girlfriends.
