At this point, the intrepid internet surfer \ babylon 5 fan \ Josh Cox fan, says "why? We still have crusades, and reruns. Josh can get another job." Well, we have some very good reasons (IONSHO).
The reasoning:

cast for the show is, at this point not set in stone.
Joshua
Cox is cute and good-looking. Babylon 5 had several good-looking actors
and actresses. While this is not fundamental to the show, it would be a
good idea to have another good-looking male cast member. This would
encourage female viewership, which is traditionally low for science
fiction based show.
jms
generally provides us with well rounded characters. This is not the case
for Corwin; we know little about him. We need to know. Jms, we want you to
quench our curiosity.
jms
said that Corwin would be a recurring character. While this is nice, it
would be nicer to have Corwin in the opening credits. As we have learned
previously, actors cannot always appear as needed due to prior engagments.
While Josh has said he would like to work with jms and Crusades, he might
not be able due to the issue of time and money, and prior commitments. Get
him now, while we still can.
